Pin & Win

For the past two years the VRC has partnered with the Alfred Hospital to raise a total of $943,525 for their new Trauma Centre through the Pin & Win Promotion. Pin sales have exceeded expectations every Carnival and in 2008, the VRC proudly raised $473,525 for the Alfred.

The Melbourne Cup Carnival has been aligned with a charity for more than 20 years, raising money for worthwhile causes such as Kids Help Line, Camp Quality, Riding for the Disabled, Challenge - Supporting Kids with Cancer and The Alfred.

This year the Victoria Racing Club has created their own foundation where in 2009 all the proceeds raised from selling pins will be directed to the foundation and donated to charity. More information to follow shortly.

The Pin & Win lapel pin has become a must-have fashion accessory at the racetrack and whether in the Birdcage, Myer Fashions on the Field or on the Flemington public lawn, racegoers won't be seen without one.
