Riverside Enclosure - new for 2010!

Riverside (new for 2010) is located at the western end of the racecourse, along the banks of the Maribyrnong  River. This outdoor enclosure is the ideal place for small groups who seek a relaxed atmosphere in which they can enjoy a day at the races.

Mini Marquees will be positioned throughout the enclosure to provide a comfortable base for the day in close proximity to catering outlets, totes and bookmakers. Themed outdoor furniture and market umbrellas will complete the setting. A central courtyard will allow groups to mingle and view the superscreen.

Access to a seat within a reserved section of the lawn stand is also included in this package. Guests can also take advantage of the opportunity to access all general public areas around the racecourse. Mini Marquees are available for exclusive use for large group bookings on request. Small groups and individual bookings will be required to share.

Smart dress code applies. Patrons are reminded that no food or beverages from outside are permitted into Riverside. The Melbourne Cup Carnival is an outdoor event and this product is open to the weather. We urge you to dress appropriately and bring along the required protection eg: sunscreen, wet-weather gear.
