The trophy was also presented in 1953 to the connections of Wodalla and believed to be also the 1930 Cup won by Phar Lap.
The Cup trophy returns to the earlier Steeth designed Cup trophy typical of the 1920s and early 1930s period. The Cup is modelled on the trophy won by Phar Lap in 1930 and is valued at $150,000.
